Zalando Outlet in Hamburg

Today I went for a walk in the city center, and noticed that many had shopping bags from the Zalando Outlet in Hamborg. I became curious and immediately found out where it was… And I found it: D
It can be found on Poststraße 9, 20354 Hamburg (link to Google Maps). It is located approx. 200m from the U/S-Bahn Station Jungfernstieg. It is relatively easy to get there. It is located right next to the water, so it’s not easy to spot immediately when coming from the subway.

In the middle of the picture you can see the orange color from Zalando’s logo which is the entrance

The store opened for the first time on the 30.08.2018 and there are a lot of visitors. Unfortunately, I have not bought anything since I would only take a look at it at first. The store is divided into 2 floors, which is a little different than normal. The department for men can be found on the ground floor, and the female department is on the 1st floor. I apologize for some poor quality pictures, as I had to do them quickly as many people went back and forth.

Men’s department

When you get up the escalator you can go either right or left (the 1st floor is large). If you go to the right you will reach the textile department. There are all kinds of brands, no-names as well as different price categories. Regarding the discounts I noticed that most items in average had (55-66%) discount on the price. I found a few which were at -41%. In the next section, I have added some pictures of various brands, as well as the price tags for these to give a picture of the prices and the selection in the Zalando Outlet Hamburg.

On the other hand, if you look at the other side of the department, the department is packed with bags, sunglasses, purses, scarves, belts and a looooooot of shoes. I’ve added pictures of Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Michael Kors sunglasses, as well as Superga, Converse, ONLY shoes and finally a Porsche Design (ridiculous price, but ok)

ONLY shoes – Outlet price 2,95€ (-62%)/Original price 34,95€

Converse – Outlet price 29,95€ (-64%)/Original price 84,95€

Calvin Klein – Outlet price 64,95€ (-51%)/Original price 134,95€. —- The glasses beneath are Michael Kors with a similar price.

Michael Kors – Outlet price 69,95€ (-53%)/Original price 149,95€. — Giorgio Armani sunglasses are in the background (price unknown)

Superga – Outlet price 34,95€ (-61%)/Original price 89,95€

PORSCHE DESIGN bag – Outlet price 229,95€ (-71%)/Original price 799,80€

primark_Hamburg_billstedt

Normally I don’t write about these things as a new opening and so on. But I guess a lot (especially danes) would love to know that the famous irish chain Primark will open in Hamburg in 2017. it will be placed on the east side of Hamburg in Billstedt. You can read more about it here (sorry, it’s only in German) 🙂

Hamburg or Sønderborg?

Hamburg_Sønderborg

Like all It’s important to get an education. I have now been in Hamburg nearly a year and it makes me really just sad. Just the thought of it, or rather by writing this makes me cry. Hamburg is really a great city to be in, and that is why it makes me also hurt that I possibly smoking back to Denmark.

There went the goat in the compared to apply for student place in Hamburg. So the only alternative, where I saw it as safe, was to apply for a student in Denmark. There is my choice already Sønderborg, because I have a great interest in the international market. And it is the perfect that they Business Administration (Business Administration). The focus is on trade between Denmark and Germany, but of course also in major international perspectives.

BUT! – In turn, I made contact with a Danish company which is located in Hamburg. Maybe or maybe not if you are lucky to get a job. However, it should not be any job. They have not responded to my email yet for a meeting about possible Dual-Studium (like HA, where you work and study at the same time). So I glæææder me insane much to get answers from them.

Otherwise, be you have to leave all that you have built in Hamburg. So I keep my fingers crossed and hope that you dear readers will do the same! :’)

Hafengeburtstag 8-10. May Hamburg

Published 23.06.2015

Haha, I’m already far too many days behind, and soon it will be well also to months. But I was so to the so-called Hafengeburtstag (port birthday) in Hamburg, located at Bridges. But there is always a Hafengeburtstag every year where you can experience a little of hvert.Der were both music (different stages), ship parades, fireworks and much more at over 3 days. But I was there so only on Saturdays.

Festivals and Marks Forster!

There were different stages, and I believe these were only two of them. The major and then a minor, who dealt extensively with rock / heavy genres (which I was a fan). But I’m also a fan of Mark Forster, but him I choose to write about in another post (possibly the next).

Mark Forster

Ship Parade (which unfortunately I did not see, boo!)

You have a tradition of having ship parades every year. There is always a Einlauf- and Auslaufparade. As I myself was not present, they have via their official Hafengeburtstag 2015 page loaded videos and pictures from the guard. But this video is shown from d. May 8, ie intro parade or what you now just to say.

Otherwise, there are also many other images from the same site

Volleyball pictures from one of our tournaments

At one point, I said that there would be some pictures up from some of our tournaments. One of our team players could not play that day, but then, she has been kind enough to take pictures of us. I do not really know that I am 100% satisfied with the images that I am on. I especially like the very first picture … So can one not look more silly when playing volleyball. I believe that I receive with a bagger stroke at the time, otherwise usually one does not look like that 😀

Cafe Reise Bar – Hamburg Altona

Cafe-reise-bar

It’s been a long time finally that there has ever been any activity on the blog, and I regret sincerely. But now I should very much like to be back again, so I can be a little more active. For although I was a stay lasting between 16-20th February, so I thought that there was something interesting to tell. In Denmark (on my part) happens not sincerely much, and it’s just typical private visit and time with the family which has been prioritized.

But it was again sidetracked. On Tuesday, had one of my colleagues birthday, so she decided to invite us all to her celebration at a bar. The bar is called as said Cafe Reise Bar, and is located close to the main railway station in Hamburg-Altona. Here it was now very cozy. Although I was in theory not felt to go (had slept two hours and a stressful working day), so I thought anyway, that it would be syndt if I was away. Almost all of our international team was there, so around 15.

But oh my, how is it good enough not much cheaper than it is in Denmark. It is also clear when Altona is filled with tourists.

In this picture there is a plate of nachos with cheese, jalapenos and of course dip 🙂 I feel certain enough that I gave € 5.9 for this dish. Alongside is a so-called Singapore Sling for € 6.9 in Happy Hour. Normally it costs € 9.
Or can it also be that I have simply been such a long time away from Denmark that I can not even ærindre prices more.

Enough about that. It was a pleasant evening. We were shown enough for 4-5 hours or something around. And then there were of course some who decided to slip the Reeperbahn. There should I with! In my work, I am the one who is known for partying constantly. But it probably has something to do with that Hamburg is quite different from the small village, which you did come from. So everything must then be verified by! : D

Normally I do not usually go around in Hamburg in the evening, as I always do sports on Monday. Yesterday I had not really wanted to do it, which is called for so-called “functional training”. So it ended up that I took a walk around the Central Station and the Jungfernstieg (shopping center, or whatever you just want to call it). I’m not really crazy about the decoration of the Rathaus at the town hall square. In theory, I have only seen the town hall during the day. So it gave a very different impression in the evening. And it’s really beautiful lighting 😀

In future posts I will probably focus on telling about my experience, and of course share experiences / photos of the sites from various locations in Hamburg. I’ve been here since August, and has obviously already some pictures, which I later put up 😀

And sorry for the picture quality. I’m about to buy me a camera, so I really can get started playing with the images 😀
